Moving House

Their story:

This family of four was preparing for a major move from a large house to an apartment, with several items that wouldn’t be making the journey. Between two jobs, commuting, and two small children, they needed outside support. As anyone who has moved knows, the work starts long before moving day.

Ten weeks out, we created an action plan with concrete steps for each part of the house, week by week. We set up a sorting zone for everything that wouldn’t make the move. Together, we prepared items to sell, made donation and rubbish runs, supplied moving boxes and packed up several rooms. Going little by little kept the process smooth and the move manageable.

Result: A clear, written week-by-week action plan that made the move feel manageable for the whole family.
